Here’s a completely different take on Fellowship.

Well, I’ve done it. I’ve divorced myself from ATT.

Almost anyway.

###What’s the problem?

If you read how [[ATT Is Screwing Me!]], you have an idea of how pissed off I am at these guys. I now have an inside source that verifies everything I said in that article. In short:

• They are changing the way that machines are named in their DNS database such that the name is no longer fixed
• They are shutting off access to various services from outside their network to machines inside their network making it impossible for people like me to run my website.

This is not what I signed up for when I started using their broadband service several years ago.

The only reason that I have anything to do with them anymore is that I need a fast connection to the internet and they are the only game in town. DSL is not an option, nor is ISDN or satellite broadband.

So, I decided to host my email and website outside of ATT’s network completely.

I decided on http://www.primesource-hosting.com. Except for some outages which I expect to be taken care of soon, I am quite please with the services that I’m getting with them.
